QuinQuis is set 20 acres of woodland but with plenty of open grass areas. It is owned and managed by an English couple who acquired the site three years ago and since that time have made numerous improvements. The latest of these is a fun pool incorporating a spa area, toddlers area and slide. Adjacent to this is the swimming pool, all the pool areas are fenced. Both pools are heated. Nearby is the poolside family bar complete with outside decking and next to a play area for small children enabling parents to relax whilst watching them. A larger playground is elsewhere on the site and, for the energetic boys and dads, there is a football pitch. Crazy golf is situated near the reception. Table tennis is available in the games room. There is a small charge for the tennis courts.
A kids club is held mornings in the high season and, for a nominal charge, they have a good time there. Just up the adjoining lane, approx 300 metres, is a small childrens zoo.
A separate laundry room houses the washing machines, drier and ironing facilities. There is an evening takeway and Claude (the French chef) offer some very tasty dishes which are worth trying if you do not want to visit one of the many good restaurants locally.
During the summer there are some evening entertainment and a weekly pub quiz. If you are looking for a lot of organised daytime activities and noisy discos, QuinQuis is not a place you should consider, but if you want a quiet relaxing holiday with no pressures, then from the time you arrive to the day of leaving you are made to feel most welcome.
